Forensic science is the application of science to the law. In criminal cases forensic scientists are often involved in the search for and examination of physical traces which might be useful for establishing or excluding an association between someone suspected of committing a crime and the scene of the crime or victim. Such traces commonly include blood and other body fluids, hairs, textile fibres from clothing etc, materials used in buildings such as paint and glass, footwear, tool and tyre marks, flammable substances used to start fires and so on. Sometimes the scientist will visit the scene itself to advise about likely sequence of events, any indicators as to who the perpetrator might be, and to join in the initial search for evidence. Other forensic scientists analyse suspected drugs of abuse, specimens from people thought to have taken them or to have been driving after drinking too much alcohol, or to have been poisoned. Yet others specialise in firearms, explosives, or documents whose authenticity is questioned.

A video was shown to us during the English language lesson. The video was about national education and also about the future planning. This video also show us that most Singaporeans have dream to go overseas to either pursue their studies in other countries or being promoted in their occupation. I personally feel that working aboard or studying aboard is alright as long as they still in touch in Singapore and as a Singaporean.

My ambition is to do forensic science in the future. My job is to work with the police force to solve mystery cases.Forensic Science is any science used for the purposes of the law, and provides impartial scientific evidence for use in the courts of law, e.g. in a criminal investigation and trial. Forensic Science is a multidisciplinary subject, drawing principally from chemistry and biology, but also physics, geology, psychology, social science, etc.Forensic science is a subject that fascinates me. What makes forensic science so exciting is to study is the nature of the problems to be solved. I wanted do to this profession as I am very interested in mystery.
Forsenic science has to do with DNA, finger prints and many more intesting
stuff.

My school brought us to the Suntec City to exhibit the career fair.
It allowed students to view their career choice the expectations of it.
They had all the jobs and the necessary information needed for the it.
It also had a chance for the adults who are looking for jobs to get a job through this.
When we went there, it was extremely crowed, with full of people and booths.
they had all sorts of jobs, like you name, it you get it!
There were also people from America,Switzerland,,Japan and alot more
people from the country to advice and give their suggestions or experience about the job ,we are looking for. As i am looking forward to do forensic science in the future,
it was really hard as there no particular booth about forensic science.
I had to fish all the booth to look for it.However i manged to find it and learned all the
necessary relevant information about my job
